Investigation Update: Young Dolph Autopsy Yields New Clues

Young Dolph (born Adolph Robert Thornton Jr.) was an American rapper and songwriter. He was born on August 11, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, but was raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Young Dolph began his music career in 2008 with the release of his debut mixtape “Paper Route Campaign”. He gained popularity in the early 2010s with mixtapes such as “High Class Street Music” and “Blue Magic”.

The report’s conclusion states, “Upon examining the investigation and autopsy results, it was determined that the cause of death was due to gunshot wounds to the head, neck, and torso, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.”

In the case of Young Dolph’s death, the Memphis Police Department has reportedly launched an investigation and has asked anyone with information to come forward.

Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith, both known as rappers Straight Dropp, have been arrested and accused of shooting Young Dolph. Surveillance footage captured the incident, in which two men got out of a stolen Mercedes-Benz and fired shots at Makeda’s Homemade Cookies, killing Dolph. A third suspect, Shundale Barnett, is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder but was mistakenly released from an Indiana prison last month. His current whereabouts are unknown. Devin Burns and Joshua Taylor have been identified as persons of interest in the case.
